My Heart's Cry

My Heart Cries for loved ones that have gone to glory, lost loves that will never be forgotten and the lost years of my youth. My Heart Cries for all the dogs I've had and lost. They were my trusted friends who are now gone.

My Alter-Ego

I have this little person who jumps out of me every once in a while. For a long time I thought she was really who I am, but she's still a kid while I'm on the back roads of becoming old. This person is so full of life it's really tiring to watch her. There is no way that I can keep up with her. Always on the go, laughing, teasing, talking, singing, just busy, busy, busy.

She even takes it upon herself to take over my body and compose little stories and what she calls "quotable quotes". She's quite good at what she does , at least I think so. When she shows up, my entire world turns flip-flops. I never know what she's going to be doing or going. I just have to follow along like an obedient puppy. She simply amazes me to no end.

She's got a philosophy of life that will blow your mind. Things she says make no sense at first, but once you think about them, you can see the sense in what she's said. I will write a few of the wise thoughts that she lives her life by. She's a very huge fan of herself and her "quotable quotes".

(I) If y ou climb trees, you'll get wet, especially if it's raining.
(II)If your house is made of glass, buy a lot of curtains.
(III)Never let failure get you down, if you've failed, you're already down.
(IV)People that make others laugh, are the unhappiest of all.
(V)If elephants could fly, dogs wouldn't have to bark.
(VI)Never chase a cat down a blind alley, you might catch it.

This Is Ringo

Ringo-2002 Posted by Hello

Ringo

I got Ringo in 1998 when my husband was selling fireworks for the Fourth of July. Ringo was nothing but a ball of fur. He had a twin that my niece got for her daughters. They named their pup Bingo to rhyme with Ringo. He stayed with me for quite a few years. Then in December of 2002 we had a big ice storm that knocked out everything including tearing down Ringo’s pen and he got out and ran out into the road where a truck hit him and broke his leg. We had to have him put to sleep because the leg was too badly broken up. That really cut deep into the heart of me. I hated losing that dog, again he was just a big, lovable pup that grew into a bigger and more lovable dog. That was my Ringo.

My Babies

This is what my heart cries for, my babies. Not human babies but my four legged babies that I have now and the ones that have left. I really don't know how I ever got attached to puppies/dogs but ever since I can remember I've had one. I love my dogs as much or maybe more than the people I know. You can tell all yours troubles to your pet and not one word will ever be told. They are so kind, warm and trustworthy.

MUNN-1968 Posted by Hello

Munn

Munn wasn't my first dog but he was the first one in a long time. I got him in 1966 as a pup. This picture was taken in 1967 by me of course. He was very big and heavy set but was nothing but a big, lovable baby. Anyone could just walk up to him and wrestle around with him. I kept him for a very long time, took him with me when I got married. He was then our baby. Eventually, we gave him to a man who lived in the country where Munn could have a larger place to play and run and have a good time.
