My Newest Dog
This is the newest dog I've gotten. He's about nine (9) months old now. He's a mixture of a miniature Poodle and a Chihuahua. He weighs about 10 pounds and his name is Big Boy. It took me one week to house train him and he's as smart as they come. First thng in the mornings, he rares up on the side of our bed and begins to lick DW's arm to wake him up. He makes no sounds throughout the night and sleeps on a pillow on one side of our bedroom. He is tan and cream colored. Cute as a button.
I began putting him out in the backyard[it's fenced in] with Mulder and they have so much fun together. Mulder showed him how the fetch. I taught Mulder to fetch when he was about a year old. Big Boy has already learned from watching what Mulder does. He can make Mulder stand off too. If they have a bit of food left and both want it, guess who gets it---yep, Big Boy They run, jump and play very well together. Big Boy will grab Mulder's tail and Mulder will start running round and round in circles, all the while Big Boy is actually flying through the air. It is so funny. Then they'll begin to fight playfully and Big Boy will jump up and clamp down on Mulder lower jaw and Mulder will run and run with Big Boy dangling from his mouth. It's hilarious.
Then when DW comes from work, he and Big Biy play and it gets right rowdy. I always have to tell them to quieten down. Big Boy also sings. He's got a pitch so high that it'll hurt your ears. All in all, he's a darn pretty little pup. We love him and he loves us, always kissing and such. Oh, when he does do something that I tell him not too and get the fly swatter[never use it on him] he will take off in a flash and go lay down on his pillow. We bathe him nearly every night and he'll go get on his pillow and pull his blanket over himself. He always tells us if he has to go out. DW takes him out for the last time between 10:30-11:00pm. When they come back in, DW will say, "go to bed" and Big Boy will go into our bedroom and get on his pillow and that'll be the last we hear of him until about 6:15pm, the next morning when it's time to get up and get DW off to work. You can also tell him go get on his pillow and stay there until you say get up and he will do it. I've never seen the like in my life, in a pup that is. He's a darn good little dog for sure.
